About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to escape the little bubble of Ile Perrot. Although Ile Perrot is beautiful and has harbored some beautiful moments in my life, its time to leave it behind; to learn the life of "it": salami sandwhiches and grasshopper noises.
ABOUT ME
-I'm an analog guy living in a digital world- Hank Moody
Well I think I am a nice guy but I'm always trying to be nicer. I talk a lot and often mistake myself for funny. I m a bit obnoxious at times. I like to write, I love summer and I love outside. I like beer, fire and wet grass in the morning. I like my friends and I like making new friends. Sometimes i am a little to personal, my buddy Jeff says I have no boundaries but that also makes me like everyone I meet. The essence of me though is simple: I am at my most happy when I look at my gps in my car and see that there are 400 miles before my next stop. Because in those four hundred miles there are no plans, only music and thinking and eating and talking. In those four hundred miles you have the time to think of stories you want to write, you can have fake arguments in your head, you can listen to your buddy talk about horrific sexual experiences and you can, in those suspended moments, realize how lucky you are.
PHILOSOPHY
Laugh, talk, sit down in front of a fire, pass around wine, sleep in a tent, flirt, love beautiful women-- Enjoy whats happening, feel lucky. Lastly, every once in a while take a second and realize you're alive and that perfect moments exist.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Well I like to be fun. Although it is a bit weird to sit in my room right now and objectively examine my own self I think I can say that I'll try my hardest to make people laugh.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
One: Me and two buddies drove down the east coast of the united states for a couple of weeks one summer. In those two weeks we were hosted by two fantastic hosts ( Jose in Boston and Leo in DC). First time ever surfing. I think those two men really showed me that people are nice. People care for one another and will often do great things unconditionally. Those two men really changed my outlook on life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything with a spec of originality, artistry and love. To me, there is nothing better than sitting in a dark, quiet theater knowing that you're about to experience a good two hours of suspension-- there's something comforting in knowing that most people in the theater have turned off their phones.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well I almost OD'd on a bunch of ecstasy pills when I was a bit younger which wasnt amazing in and of itself by any means. However, while I was leaned up against some decrepit truck ( I was on a paintball field) and puking up liters of water I certainly realized how much I did not want to die. After my puke session I stretched out in a pile of long grass and just watched people walk by while I waited for my other friends to finish up. In those moments, in the long grass, I realized how awesome everything in my life was. Mind you, some of that was probably influenced by the copious amounts of drugs that I had taken earlier, but most of it was sincere. I think everyone needs that one moment where they realize (with some exceptions of course) that life is great. Mine happened to come in a pile of long grass, three feet away from a pile of vomit-- I wouldnt change it for the world.
