ABOUT ME

I'm very outgoing, friendly, and personable, yet I'm a homebody and appreciate the simple things in life such as meaningful conversation, personal relationships, and surrounding myself in nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm trying to adopt principles of minimalism -- living a meaningful life with less stuff -- into my life. In an ideal world, I would own less than 100 possessions and spend most of my time connecting with and learning from others.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't, yet. Hopefully soon :) I guess I would start as a surfer the next few times I decide to travel, and then I may host after that... still getting familiar with the concept at this point.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, I just joined. Met a girl who told me about this CouchSurfing thing, so I figure creating a profile is the first step.

Interests

I enjoy the beach, kayaking, long walks, cycling, tennis, snorkeling, swimming, hiking/camping, surfing, paddleboarding, skiing, whitewater rafting, and just about anything else outdoors and active. I also enjoy chess, independent film, intellectual conversation, eating pizza, reading non-fiction, attending lectures, and watching thought-provoking DVDs, documentaries, or TED Talks online.
