About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I wanna travel the world!

ABOUT ME

they would say I have a special temperament ... I'm dreamy, ambitious, different in my own way :) I love traveling and discovering other countries and new cultures... I also have a great facility to learn languages, I've actually learnt Spanish watching telenovelas, crazy ha?
I'm also an open-minded person, my trips to different places and all the persons I've met have made me a very tolerant person, that tries as much as she can not to judge anyone... I respect all opinions and religions.. and have faith in humanity :)

PHILOSOPHY

Le bateau est en sécurité dans le port. Mais ce n'est pas pour cela que les bateaux ont été construits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I can offer a couch for people who are interested in visiting the island of Djerba, in the South of Tunisia, the house is not far from the beach and you will really enjoy it !

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Summer 2012, in Portugal: I was hosted with 2 of my cousins by 4 lovely gentlemen in their apartment in Lisbon for a few days, they were just great and treated us so well, we spent some really good moments together! In Porto, we had quality time with our host Telmo who was so kind and took us to visit other cities, then we returned all together to Lisbon... it was time to say goodbye after 4 days we got to spend with him! Portugal was such a nice experience!

Summer 2013, in Mexico: I was hosted in Guadalajara by Carlos, his brother and his cousin in their apartment in Zapopan, it was an opportunity to visit Tequila that was just 60 km away, and Puerto vallarta which was a bit further but worth being visited, the pacific was so beautiful!
In Cancun I got to be hosted by some really funny guys who just lived the life... Cancun was one of my favourites parts of the trip, good mood, good food, good weather ( well only in the morning, I was there in September: temporada de huracanes, that's how they call this period) Carribbean was awesome ...good life... the perfect place to chill! I ended up spending 9 days in Cancun and cities around... like Puerto Morelos, Playa del Carmen, Chichen Itza, Tulum... and other parts of Yucatan, and especially enjoy the cenotes.... good days!

Interests

I LOVE traveling and discovering other countries, cultures and languages... my dream would be a world tour, that would be the best gift I could be offered! I've always had something for Latin America for some reason I can't explain....Mexico in particular.. I've always dreamed, since I was little, of going there, and why not work and live there, marry a Mexicano and live happily ever after haha :p Well for now, I just wanna visit as much countries as I can in South America... and after that, start discovering Asia, Africa and parts of Europe where I haven't been yet

Other than that I love music, mostly listening to it and singing when I'm all by myself hihi... I used to play piano but not anymore, but I'm willing to take courses soon to bring back good old memories... I also enjoy watching series and movies, American ones especially! I watch all kinds of series (the vampire diaries, One tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, Dr House ...used to be my favorite ones), I have a huge stamps collection too :) I like to practice sports... and most importantly I really love my career : If I could go back in time, I would choose again and again medicine... as I believe it's the most beautiful and noble career that could ever exist :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Paulo Coelho's books, my favorites were: Maktoub and the alchimist, which had a big impact on my thoughts and the way I see life... I used to read gossip girl books when I was a teenager.. not anymore haha!
As for movies, I have a preference for comedies and romantic comedies, don't ask me why! when I wanna see a movie, my choice is mostly based on the names of the actors that act in it :) but I do watch all kind of movies actually!
