About Me

My Life as of 5/12/15:

I am currently a fourth year at the University of Georgia. I am just a long haired 21 year old trying to get by one day at a time. I love the outdoors and anywhere i can set up my hammock seems like a good place to me. However, when it comes to a day inside binging Netflix, I am the first person on the couch with some sort of cheese readily available. I'm a lover of sports even though my lack of knowledge (and skill) wouldn't back me up on that statement.

As of now my life is dominated by school. When I'm not studying though I'm surrounded by family and friends. There are a few things better than a time spent talking and laughing (also drinking) with the people you love, and I seek any chance to do so.

I will end with two random things:
1. Once my family forgot me in the middle of nowhere South Dakota in a Kevin Costner themed restaurant.

2 .I am cursed on full moons, but that is a story I will only tell if we are lucky enough to meet in person.

Go Forth!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Last summer was the first time I have ever stepped foot out of the United States. I had an internship in Denmark, and got travel around with my sister who was staying in England. Everyone talks about this so called "travel bug" and man did i get bitten hard by it.

You do not realize what the world truly has to offer until you've traveled. The world seems so much larger and with vast possibilities available. I think my favorite part of travelling this summer was seeing the local side of things rather than the touristy fronts. Living in a new country for an extended time made me really enjoy seeing how people live from country to country. I think couch surfing would be a great way to experience that side of things anywhere i decided to go.

Couch surfing has been mentioned to me multiple times through multiple travels and that is why i decided to join. To meet new people and share life experiences with people who are welcoming enough to invite others into their lives. I am excited for the possibilities that waits for me through surfing!

Interests

Well to just list a few I love to hike, hammock, cook (usually includes cheese), and binge watch any show. I love rainy days especially days spent making completely random playlists with an array of musical choices. I have a weird obsession with female rappers but my music choices are very vast. to name a few: Needtobreathe, Riff Raff, Florence + The Machine, Lil Debbie, Beyonce, Alabama Shakes, Chance the Rapper, and more.

I love to swim, and swam competitively most of my life. I love writing down ambiguously short life lessons that make no sense. I instagram a bit too much, I like trying new beers and going thrifting.

I always hate these sections cause there is no fluidity, so i guess that is it for now haha.
