About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Just to host and meet a whole bunch of interesting folk from all over the place.
ABOUT ME
I think my friends would describe me as warm, sociable, easy going and good company. I'd then remove the pointy thing from their backs and let them tell you the real answer...
I think I have quite an unusual sense of humour and I really enjoy making people laugh, at least, trying to make them laugh. Laughter is very important to me generally.
I'm not overbearing, I don't enforce myself on people and I tend to surround myself with similar souls. That said, I do have strong opinions and enjoy getting into a good debate but I think I'm open-minded enough to respect everyone's point of view...unless it's completely ridiculous of course ;)
PHILOSOPHY
I don't consciously have any kind of philosophy or way of living my life.
I live to learn, I think. I enjoy learning, about anything, which means I want to learn about you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only recently joined CS and am yet to 'participate'.
But I hope to host soon and get the ball rolling...
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My only experince was through another CS'er who had a couple of lovely ladies from Germany staying with him in Bristol. We had drinks, we laughed and chatted and stayed up late into the night wearing stupid wigs and playing games.
A very enjoyable experience and hopefully I can replicate it in my own place :)
Interests
Music! I don't play any instruments but i love listening to music and going out and dancing.
I have a pretty broad taste but most of the stuff the BBC 6Music tends to play seems to float my boat.
I go to an electro swing dance class, sing in an acapella choir and am a member of Cardiff's carnival crew so that keeps me busy!
I'm in the last throws of my Master's degree so that takes up most of my time, so other interests are slightly on the back burner until I figure out a decent study/fun balance.
- singing
- dancing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Turning a corner in Rome and suddenly finding myself in an open space with a view down to the left of the Colosseum, the Roman ruins in front of me and the Palace with the Tomb of the Unkown Soldier up to the right. I was speechless and will always remember that moment.
Ziplining a 1km line 200m above the Costa Rican cloud forest amongst the clouds. Exhilarating, scary and fantastic fun.
Flying over the Nazca Lines in Peru. Terrifying. I was glad to land safely ahving heard many horror stories but it was an amazing sight and I'm glad I did it.
