Overview
About Me
I lied, I'm not learning French or Esperanto: Learnt them in the past but I'm no longer fluent. Willing to brush 'em up, though!
By the way, Bodo *is* my real name.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To get to know like-minded people and learn from other people's experiences; also, to pay some niceness in advance for when I need somebody to host me. ;)

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy a variety of genres, principally psychedelic rock, indie, jazz and "world music" (son, cumbia, afrobeat, molam etc.). Only no-go's are anything too commercial, angry or flashy.
I don't really follow movies or TV series. Among my favorite movies are some psychologically or existentially deeper ones, like Magnolia, The Man Who Wasn't There, The Edukators or Memento.
I studied literature and could be described as a book junkie! I read all kinds of stuff, especially novels.

Teach, Learn, Share

* I know some basic cumbia dancing steps.
