About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Connecting the dots

ABOUT ME

It is really hard to talk about yourself. I don't think you can really describe an entire life in few lines. I just can say I love what I do, and I do it in the way that I love.

PHILOSOPHY

You can't connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future. You have to trust in something, your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever; because believing that the dots will connect the road, it will give you the confidence to follow your heart, even when he leads you off of the well warm path.. and that will make all the difference.. -Steve Jobs-

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In general terms, I decline all general messages.

As freelancer, sometimes I have plenty of time for meeting new people and hanging out with them, and sometimes I don't. However, there is always time to share a drink or a coffee nearby and to have a good conversation as well. I can tell you the best and cheapest ways to reach all the touristic places in Quito.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I used CS was in San Diego (USA). At that time I got treated too well, that I felt I had to do the same for other travelers. I was hosting people since then in Quito-Ecuador, people I call friends now.

Interests

I love to draw and to paint, to travel, to read, to meet new people, to drink a beer with friends, to have deep conversations, to play basketball, to play video-games, to learn by myself..

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I enjoy listening and dancing almost all kinds of music styles, however I am not really a music person, although I like Joaquín Sabina.

Movies: I love Pixar movies. I enjoy watching good films from all over the world as well.

Series: Friends, Los Simpsons, Futurama, Malcon in the middle, Family Guy, The Big Bang Theory, Games of Thrones, The Walking Dead, The wonder years and more...

Books: I like Stephen King books. Besides that, Nausea, Blindness, The Stranger, Sin destino, One hundred years of solitude, Contagious, Dorian Grey Portrait, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did water rafting in the jungle, I had the opportunity to feel the beauty and the power of the nature in Galapagos islands, I got amazed seeing the sunrise in the grand canyon, I saw the milky way from a open air hot tub in Bolivia, I jumped into a Zenote in Cancun, I jumped over a sulfur geyser in Bolivia, I ate lemon flavor ants in the Ecuadorian Jungle, I got into a Dragon's Den in Poland, I got lost in a labyrinth in Spain, I did the comic strip in Belgium, I found the exit in the largest iced labyrinth in Poland...

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe when you meet someone, you start to teach, to learn and to share everything about yourself, and that is a great way to grow up..

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides laughs and stories, I like to bring with me interesting stories about my country and my culture every single time I travel, and to share that little part with people around me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Bolivia, Colombia, Cuba, France, Hungary, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Peru, Poland, Spain, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
