Hello to whomever is reading this! My name is Brenda Lopez and I am going to be biking to California through the southern States. I just recently, well I guess I haven't yet graduated, but will be this week with my masters in social work. I have been dreaming to bike across the States for a long time now since I was in high school actually (I am 26 now!)l. I've had to put it on hold and now there is nothing stopping me. I have done some long bike rides with my great friends, but never months long. I will be touring through late May and I''ll hopefully get to California by mid-August, I believe I have a friend joining me. His name is Michael Bokingo. He is a great friend from high school. We are both simple people. He does not have dietary restrictions, but I eat vegetarian and prefer to eat vegan. It's not the biggest deal if I don't eat vegan. I am also bilingual, podriamos hablar espanol. I am not sure what else to say! Again, I am a very simple liver and sleeper, so I don't mind just saying in yards and whatnot. I love hearing about peoples lives and their experiences. I hope we get to meet and share stories.
