Hello, there! My name is Bogdan and I am a Romanian traveler. I'm 25 years old. I lived for the first 19 years of my life in my hometown called Roman, which is located in the Moldovan region of Romania. I then moved to Bucharest, for the next 4 years, to attend college. I studied at the University of Bucharest and I have a bachelor's degree in Geography.

I am currently in the United States. I've been living in Jackson, Wyoming for the most part (but I've also lived in Las Vegas and in Maine). I travel a lot nowadays. I have seen all the lower 48 states and I plan on going to HI and AK soon.

I had heard of Couchsurfing and thought I should give it a try. I love meeting new, cool, friendly people all the time. I am very sociable and enjoy learning new things from everybody that I meet. I'm on my own "cultural exchange program", which involves a lot of traveling from place to place. So, I would really appreciate any kind of help from the kind people on this website (like letting me crash at their place for a night, showing me around town or just giving me tidbits of information or advice on how to get some things done).

Music:

I listen to a lot of music and I have very eclectic tastes: rock, metal, punk, hardcore, alternative, indie, emo, ska, reggae, hip-hop, electronica, jazz, blues, folk, funk, rnb, soul, pop, to world, experimental or avant-garde music.

Some of my favorite artists range from Bomb the Music Industry! to Kendrick Lamar, to La Dispute or The Wonder Years, Elliot Smith, Run the Jewels, The National, Neil Young, or Deftones.

Basically, I can listen to anything from pop punk, indie pop, post-rock, to melodic death metal, grindcore or gangsta rap.

Movies:

Some of my favorite movies are: City of God, Into the Wild, Pulp Fiction, Grave of the Fireflies and Pixar movies!

TV Shows:

I watch a lot of cartoons (like Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, Rick and Morty, Invader Zim, Samurai Jack, Young Justice, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra) and anime (like Full Metal Alchemist, Death Note, One Piece, Code Geass or Attack on Titan).

Live actions shows that I like, are: The Walking Dead, Twin Peaks, Freaks and Geeks.

Books:

I didn't read that many books, but I enjoyed Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk or Shogun by James Clavell. Though, I do read comic books, and some of my favorites are: Scott Pilgrim, The Walking Dead, Fables, Watchmen, Batman: The Killing Joke, and I recently started reading Spawn.

Video Games:

I'm a huge Nintendo nerd. I have all their systems back at home and only travel around with a Nintendo 3DS to play Pokemon! I like fighting games like Soul Calibur II, Super Smash Bros. or Street Fighter 2, racing games like Mario Kart and F-Zero, rpgs like Pokemon games, Fire Emblem Awakening, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest, platformers like Super Mario games, Donkey Kong Country, and action adventure games like The Legend of Zelda, Metroid Prime, Castlevania and even Resident Evil 4.

My favorite PC games are Civilization IV and V, Plants vs. Zombies, Sam & Max : Hit the Road, Machinarium, Limbo and Cave Story.
