So yeah, Im a simple guy who studies engineering (energy systems). Im still trying to get better with my not-so-fluent german. Im studying in Dresden and I live here for 3 years already (April 2016 date of this entry). Was born in Kazachstan, hence fluent in russian, in family we speak russian as well, but i consider myself to be a lithuanian. Grew up in Klaipeda, small seaside city. There i finished school, made some good friends, and just had a cool childhood. Used to go out in the neighbourhood with kids to play different games that we invented. Cool times :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Well, i think the idea is pretty cool. But more than that, my friend Evaldas, has once taken me to a journey (actually happened last week when im writing this) so he is kind of experienced in this field, so i trusted him, and we went through some couchsurfing hosts in France, Italy, Switzerland. It was great ! So many interesting people ! So i thought just to create an account here and maybe next time, i can try travelling somewhere alone. For now unfortunately, I cannot accept guests, because I live at my parents house due to various reasons. Someday, though, I will surely be opened for many couchsurfers who try visit whatever the place I will be living in in the future !

Interests

Well, I like swimming, up until 16 years old i was quite serious about it, but then something stupid happened in my brains, and i quit. Worst decision in my life :D also i like anime, used to play video games, just chilling with friends. Sometimes smoking, casually drinking glass of beer with a good company :) playing cards, board games and just chatting. All in all, im still discovering myself, and striving for new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - Eminem (ex- fan, now just have respect for his music), Globus ( Immediate music and stuff like that), and just random stuff, that i casually like. Really hard to choose anything in particular. I can tell what i DONT listen though ( yet again with exceptions) - techno, or some death metal stuff. Just aint feeling it. But hey- maybe one day ill be touched by it.
Movies- Cloud Atlas, thats the only on i have right now. Nolan movies also. Departed ! yee Departed probably my favourite.
Books - fantasy stuff. Kingkillers Chronicles (waiting for the 3rd part), Mistborn Trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

hmmm really hard to tell. I havent jumped with a parachute or done any extreme things like that yet, so all my "awesome" experiences are kind of.. idk, personal i guess ? like that time when i was shy 16 y/o boy and i didnt have the guts to talk to a girl, but then i mustered my courage and did it, and it felt quite amazing. Still today i remember how crazy my heart was beating :D
