About Me

CURRENT MISSION
• Living with joy, happiness and love today, tomorrow it’s too late!
• Living out of my comfort zone. It’s the only path to growth, “success”, connection and happiness.
• Learning “old school” skills; permaculture, self-sufficiency, survival and bush crafting

PHILOSOPHY
• We don't stop playing because we grow old; We grow old because we stop playing
• Weather you think you can, or you think you can't… you are right.
• 99 % of people are friendly and caring so don't listen to the media too much.

About Me
I have a deep passion for outdoor sports and activities, new adventures and experiences, learning new skills and expanding my mind. I will try anything that stimulates, challenges and pushes me mentally, physically, emotionally and broadens my perspective.

I see myself as an easygoing, curious, driven and enthusiastic person who go well with almost anyone that I meet. I love meeting new people, being inspired by their stories passions, interest, dreams, visions while creating new memories and sharing a few jokes and laughs.

I used to freelance in web design/marketing then I worked as a personal development coach which gave me great freedom to travel for seven years but it also made me to play it safe. Now I’m transitioning to a new phase in life where I want to learn how to live more natural, closer to nature and wildlife. My dream is to eventually have an self-sufficient permaculture farm while working as an adventure guide.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

While travelling I prefer to live like the locals and spend time with them to get a chance to experience the golden nuggets and the "real" things from them and not only the touristic stuff that's thrown in your face just to spend money and have the same pics as everyone else.

Interests

I love doing things outdoors; camping, hiking, tracing,

Parkour, acrobatics, calisthenics, swim, run, climb, surf, snowboard, football, basketball, volleyball … Pretty much anything that gets my blood pumping.

Music, Movies, and Books

I read mostly contradicting books. When it comes to movies, I typically like comedies and dramas or documentaries and TED talks. I don't really care for purely action or horror flicks.

I like most types of music. It just depends on my mood and whether it has something to offer me for at the moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2014 I felt that I needed to put myself through the “ultimate test” and facing the fear that keeps many of us from living life to the fullest; going broke and ending up on the streets. So I thought why wait for it, why not face that fear head on?

I bought my flight tickets and then gave away everything that I owned so I didn’t have any options. I lived “home free” in three continents (Spain, Thailand, US) for three months each without any money. It was the most challenging, eye opening and rewarding events in my life so far. Now I’m aiming for the middle ground.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love learning from others and sharing what I know. I like to say that I'm a jack of all trades, but master at none. I don't really care about being the best at something, I only care that I'm enjoying what I'm doing and that's enough for me.

I believe that everybody can learn from anybody. Learning something new every day, no matter how small, makes the day worth it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Experiences, stories, laughs.

I’m a decent cook and wouldn’t mind cooking and sharing a few meals a day which I normally prepare anyways.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Denmark, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, Norway, Philippines, Romania, Spain, Thailand, Turkey, United States
