ABOUT ME

Ask one of my friends to describe me, and after he or she will think for a second you might get something like: "He is happy. Always. I sometimes wonder if he is high all the time or if he is simply happy."
In my defense I must say that I am just happy. Always.

If I would put some labels on me, these would be the most appropriate:

optimistic.

I have the mindset of a changemaker and I am a really devoted activist. I like to fight for the things I stand for. I have volunteered for dozen of organizations, but I mostly enjoyed running my own social business, BraveArt. I created the first social enterprise in Romania which was run only by teen people under 20 years old. It was a huge, huge success!

I am kind of obsessed with discovery. I want to know how things work and why they work that way. I want to understand what is happening around me.

I try to accumulate strong and beautiful memories, because, after all, in the end, they are what we are left with! (Ironically, it seems that I have a really bad memory, haha)

PHILOSOPHY

I would say that I am living though a very experimental phase of my life - I want to experience as many new things as possible! Only after I will have lived through more things I will know what I like the most.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, music and books. Gotta love them!
Most of the time I enjoy good quality dramas or artistic movies, such as 500 Days of Summer, Fight Club, Into the Wild, Being John Malkovich, The Hours, Pan's Labyrinth, J'ai tue ma mere, Talk to her, La sconosciuta, The Lovely Bones, Mr. Nobody, Volver, Vicky Christina Barcelona etc.

When it comes to music, I mostly listen to indie or folk, but I also enjoy rock ballads, classical music, and pop. My favorite bands and singers are Mumford and Sons, Kings of Leon, Coldplay, Mika, Poets of the Fall, Of Monsters and Men, Pink Floyd, Foster the People and Radiohead.

When it comes to books, my favorite series is by far Harry Potter, it influenced my childhood a lot! I also like authors such as Karl May with his westerns and adventure books, Agatha Christie with her ingenious detective novels, Steinbeck, Chuck Palahniuk and Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In my gap year between high school and college I organized a project called The Madpackers of Europe. Together with a friend I traveled 10.000 km around Europe leaving home with a backpack and only 100 euros in our pocket. We survived for 3 months.
