I am 20 yrs old and have been traveling since graduating from high school last May. I first went to Cornwall, UK where I spent 5 amazing months working as a waiter, riding waves and living in a caravan. That was my first big adventure and I fell in love with travelling, meeting new people and learning how to function in a different country.

After my season in the UK I got a ski season job as a chef in the French Alps under a recommendation from my Cornwall bosses. This was another amazing experience shortly after which I spent 2 weeks wild camping and hitchhiking around Finland, Sweden and Norway.

Then I have spent couple of weeks traveling through Europe and then came back to England to work as a chef and enjoy the surf community of Cornish village called Polzeath.

All this experience working abroad has made me keen to continue both working and travelling around for some time. I am about to travel to Bali in January.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I prefer couchsurfing because it gives me a chance to meet the locals. I love traveling on my own so it's nice for me to interact with the locals and get to know a little bit more about the culture. I always try to contact people who seem to have the same hobbies as I do so we have the chance to chat about the things we both enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Been the first member of my family to really travel outside of the Czech Republic.

Hitchhiked around Scandinavia with my friend. This involved wild camping in national park (-20 degrees in a tent), hitching through 3 countries, staying over with Canadian lady in Norway who offered us a bed and food after taking us aboard her car and much more.

I have a great passion for cooking, hiking and adrenaline sports. Love surfing and snowboarding. Currently, I am trying to learn a little bit about photography, blogging, marketing etc. Enjoy meeting new people and exchanging stories and experiences.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Mostly, I would like to share my traveling stories and listen to yours, whilst we meet. I would like to do some activity together, be it sightseeing, surfing, hiking or just going to watch the sunset with a beer.
