Über mich

I am Faisal Mahmud, a nomadic man. I have traveled all the districts of Bangladesh. I have been running around Bangladesh for 8 years. In these eight years I have seen over 2,000 historical sites and places of interest. In 2023 I visited all the train routes of Bangladesh. I tried to mix with the soil and people of Bangladesh.

History, heritage and historical buildings were the main focus of my trip.
I travel to know and to tell. Every story of my travel is written on this page. You can find it by searching. Historical places are the main attraction of my travel. Bangladesh is a town rich in history. Historical buildings.

With the amount of time I have traveled in Bangladesh, I could have easily visited several other countries including India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, and put the tag "Bhai you are the best" next to my name, but I am a person who goes against the tag. Running behind historical buildings like a pilgrim crow. I roam everywhere from plains to deep mountains. I have traveled all the railways of Bangladesh by train.

My traveling companion is a bag of 20 liters, two pants, a few jerseys, water pot, brush, toothpaste, chocolate, power bank, charger, mobile, cap, some books (changes sometimes).

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

A terrible last night at Malek Hotel.
Mymensingh Railway Station.

Suddenly some sadness gripped me. Dissociated emotions have consumed me for a long time. When I feel extremely bored, I devote myself to mountains, forests, antiquities, green ceremonies.

I went out from home without prior planning with the intention of getting lost once again. The airport railway station is crowded with people. It is announced on the mike that the hour express from Dhaka will arrive at platform number one in a short time. The train arrived and I got up talking in the dining car. Chair. People are sitting on everything, boxes, sacks. My destination is Mymensingh railway station.

I reached Mymensingh shortly after two in the morning. After getting off the train, I found a black and white cat and spent some time with it. I went out of the station. I fried bread, eggs and vegetables in a mobile hotel outside the station. Then I thought where to spend the night? I spend the time until morning in a hotel that is cheaper than spending it at the railway station. Just a short walk from the station is JC Guh Road. I thought I would rest a little in a small hotel until the morning. I went in front of the owner of the hotel, a three-story old building that is entirely a residential hotel. There is a big mosque in front of the railway station. I thought that the hotel is safe.

The hotel manager was sitting in front of him and there was a man of the third gender sitting next to him. I bought a hotel room for two hundred rupees. I still didn't see my room. My depressed brain didn't have time to think about anything. My room was on the west side of the two floors. That's it. I locked the door of the room with the key of the room. The door hinge was from Mandhata's period. I was a little afraid of 45 thousand taka. Everything was quiet in the warmth of winter.

Need something to tell me?
I said I don't need anything.
He told me you are not, I said what will I take?? Said the girl.
I said I don't need these.
Then he said that he will keep the rate low. Let's see.
I said I don't need these things, I am a traveler.
He said to me, come and see, you will like it.
I said don't disturb, so I closed the door.

Fear entered me, sweat is pouring from my body. No touch of winter can find me anymore. No problem, no money, no mobile phone, but I will not get it back if I lose my dignity.

I went to pick up the pillow and saw a packet of condoms there. My body could not bear it anymore. I was completely covered. I looked down and there was a torn packet of condoms that I had torn a while ago. I put on my winter jacket and put the money in my chest pocket. I was very scared. .It seems that tonight will not end. Suddenly there was another knock on the door.

Open this door.
I said why??
He told me to open it, I said no, I have to go out in the morning.
He told me to try it once and enjoy it.
I said I don't need these.
Then he said to me, don't you have that?
I didn't reply anymore.

He went away and I turned on the light. A terrible situation all around the walls. The curtain of the window is very old. I went to block the window. Alas, there is a window but there are no windows. I lifted the curtain a little and looked outside and saw a huge roof and then a huge coconut tree. My situation was very bad. It's done. I didn't have to wear such an extreme existence in my whole life. I looked down through the window and saw hundreds of used condoms and packets on the roof. Now I understand that it's a prostitute residential hotel.

Terrible panic engulfed me, I am sitting quietly with the light off, there is no condition to put my head on the pillow. Suddenly, the woman's voice knocked on the door again. I didn't say anything. I left with a lot of banging on the door. I'm looking at the time when the Fajr call will be, my only intention is to get out of this hell. He knocked on the door two or three more times but I did not respond.

My time has stopped, it seems that the time of the world has stopped. After a while, the apocalypse. After that, everything became cold. The sound of the Fajr call came to my ears. I somehow went down with the bag. I can't find the exit door when I go down. Now another terrible moment. I encountered it. I walked back there and saw a small room with no way out. No light was on, I turned on the flash of the mobile phone and then I came to a place. I came to a door and thought it might be the door. I knocked but there was no response. About ten minutes. After knocking like this, an old man opened the door. I told him I was going to the mosque, I got out of Malek and started walking straight ahead. I felt like I was released from hell. I went straight to the mosque and then went to the washroom to freshen up.

I prayed Fajr in congregation and thanked Allah.
