About Me

I'm a very laid back easy going guy who (obviously) loves to travel. I like music, food, drink and good conversation. I'm not good at describing myself, so maybe it would be better to just read the references...

Soy un chico muy relajado que le encanta viajar. Me gusta la música , la comida , la bebida, y buena conversación. Yo no soy la mejor persona para describirme. Así, sería mejor simplemente leer las referencias - creo que algunos son en español.

Eat, drink and be merry! The most well known philosophy that is close to what I practice is Epicureanism. Look it up. You can begin your request with "Hi Epicurus" so I know you read my profile -- sorry, gotta filter these requests somehow.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new and interesting people. So far so good!

(I'm not here to save you or me money.)

Interests

Learning, learning, learning. From books, people, documentaries, anything and everything. What do you like to learn about? I'm a big fan of good beer, whiskey, and tequila. Show up with one of those and you'll likely win me over.

Music, Movies, and Books

Dylan, Dave, and The Doors, among countless others.
Not too big on movies, but I guess I like funny ones, and sad ones. maybe funny sad ones?
I enjoy reading about sustainable development, politics/current affairs, science, philosophy, conservation/environmentalism... I'm currently reading a book about ethics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The atmosphere at Oktoberfest was amazing! People from all over the world, vastly different cultures, drinking and singing together. It made me feel good about the global citizenry and people happily coexisting.

Teach, Learn, Share

I showed up at my host's place and within 30 minutes I was helping her roommate with her physics homework. So, I guess if nothing else maybe I can give some science lectures?
Anything you'd like to teach and share with me I'd like to learn about.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Friendship, and hopefully much much more!
