HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I couldn't believe I wasn't the one who invented it! ;)
I like to travel on budget (not to say I kinda have to as well...;), but most of all... I like to meet local people wherever I go. I love to see how they live, I like to observe their daily rituals and even take a part in them, I like to get an idea about their lifestyle and of course... have some deep and long, sometimes serious, sometimes funny & absurd conversations over a cup of tea. Yes, I think these are the most prescious moments of traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, so good : ) I'm very glad to realize over and over again that somewhere out there, maybe just next door, are welcoming people ready to open their doors & somehow even their hearts for a complete stranger, who needs a place to stay in new & sometimes not easy surroundings. Thank you, good people!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Volcano climb, Sumatra.
It wasn't easy! And it was partially an overnights experience so in the first hour of trekking after every suspiscious sound frome the jungle I was looking around scared of bears and tigers... after next hour of difficult trekking/climbing combo in very inapropriate shoes (no, they weren't hight-heels!) with snakes and spiders passing my way, which didn't even bother me at the time as I was so dirty, sweaty and exhausted that I started to beg God: "Ok. Now! Please, send the tigers now!"
