Overview
About Me
I live on an apple farm in Zealand, Denmark and just finished my bachelors degree in theatre and performance studies in Copenhagen. We live six people together on our farm together with our pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and bees. We also make cider and apple juice and have a vegetable garden and a greenhouse. The farm is supposed to be an example for how one could run a small scale produce, be partly self-sufficient, and let young people get an opportunity to live in the countryside without indebting themselves.
I am also practizing arts, fine arts and printmaking mostly. My interests lie in the field of political art and how art is an important part of life and could play and important role in changing how we live in and see the world. One of my main interests is communities and I am trying to figure out how human beeings can cooperate in spite of their disagreements and differences.
Besides all that, I am very fond of talking over a glass of wine or without and is generally very happy to help and to "hygge" (the danish famous word - Google it)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It is great opportunity to meet local people and that way, you can get to know a city or a place in a way you could not as a tourists. Also, being invited into someones home is a great gift. The atmosphere in a hotel or hostel can never match the one in someone´s home.
