Also lots of meetups and CS events in Houston, and I never turn down a meal or drink with a traveler passing through. As a nightlife writer I find myself hosting touring bands from time to time but lately have found myself hosting and surfing less.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2004, I spent two days in New York City Police custody while working as a reporter outside the Republican National Convention.

In November 2008, just days before the presidential election, I spent 50 minutes as a member of Joe Biden's national press corps and went with him to a Kewpee Burger in Lima, Ohio.

In January 2009, I saw a cheeseburger with a bun comprised of two individual grilled cheese sandwiches.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can edit anything for grammar, punctuation and style and can teach you a thing or two about photography, basic HTML, social media, beer & wine and software like Photoshop and InDesign. I can - and probably will - take your portrait and I can talk about music and contemporary art history all day.
