Overview
About Me
I am originally from Serbia, but I live in Norway at the moment. I have been living in Norway for past 6 years. Currently I both work and study. I like studying so I guess I will be a student forever ;-). I am actually true introvert but I do like to socialize with people and have a good conversation, especially if they share same interests.
I love to travel, explore different countries and continents and learn about other cultures. I have visited other European countries as well but I prefer traveling outside of Europe. I did a lot of traveling in Asia lately so I guess that's my favorite destination.
In Summer 2014, I went to Japan and participated in WCI program (World Campus International Japan). It's kind of a cultural exchange where participants live with Japanese families and experience their culture from within instead of wondering around as ordinary tourists. I had opportunity to see places, which ordinary tourists might not know about and learn about their cutlure and tradition. It was definitely one of greatest experiences I've ever had. I lived with 8 different families in different cities, so basically I've been traveling a lot and have seen most parts of Japan (from Nagasaki to Tokyo). The only place I didn't go to is Sapporo in Hokkaido.
I kind of fell in love with Asia during that trip and ever since I am visiting Asia at least once per year. Now that I have so many Japanese families, I could say Japan is my second home. In addition I have met many international exchange students (mostly from Korea, Japan, Singapur and China) at my University in Norway. I visited Korea couple of times (Busan, Yongpyong and Seoul) and I enjoyed it very much. I got hooked on Korean Drama series and K-Pop to be honest haha... I just can't live without it! :D
I am very fond of foreign languages. I speak fluently Serbian, English and Norwegian. I am currently studying Japanese and trying to learn Korean during free time. When it comes to books, I love to read Sports related books since my major is connected with Sport Sciences. Some ancient books like Kojiki or The Art of War are also one of my favorites.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like meeting new people and learning more about new cultures. In the end of August 2016, I will travel to China, Japan and South Korea. The plan is to visit Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong. But everything depens on visa :-). When it comes to accomodation, I have already planed to stay at hotel, but I am interested in getting to know locals and learn more about Chinese, Japanese or Korean culture. I would like to meet locals or other solo travelers who are interested in sightseeing, guide tours, shopping, hiking, clubbing or just chilling and having a conversation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Even though I am true introvert I did travel to Japan on cultural exchange and lived with Host Families for a bit more than 2 months. It was definitely awesome experience, even though I went far beyond my comfort zone.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach languages I am fluent in, or about Serbian and Norwegian culture. Since my professions are pshysiotherapy and Human Movement Sciences (Sport Sciences) I can discuss about it and share the knowledge.
I like to travel so I can share my experiences with others who would like to visit same countries I visited or visit the country I am currently living in.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Share knowledge, opinions, discuss about different topics, hanging around, go hiking, shopping, clubbing, cycling, playing video games, making food together, sightseeing... I am open for other suggestions as well.
