About Me

Couchsurfing MISSION

I am here to serve my fellow world-travelers and realizing their needs by providing them my hospitality in a way that makes my guests feel at home.

Personal and Professional MISSION

My mission is to learn from anyone and simultaneously teach, share knowledge, and move people around by exploiting their maximum and using their independence as a basis, which makes them go beyond their comfort zone.

ABOUT ME

I am Bojan Ali Haider

I have an exceptionally spontaneous and outgoing personality with proper moral values, a great sense of humor and an imagination out of the ordinary. I see myself as an impulsive person, the adventurous type.
I am a very open-minded and straightforward person. What you see is what you get and I believe it is of utmost importance to respect other people's opinions. I also know for a fact that there is an exception to every rule taking the person and circumstances into consideration.

Trust, Reciprocity, Experience, Respect, credibility, and ethics and morality are my values and beliefs :)

PHILOSOPHY

My theory is accepting the other and not eliminating the other. We do not have to protect and adapt but to assert and try to change. Whether it is willing or unwilling. I have to understand you whatever you are! We are created to know each other better and not to fight each other.

Mahatma Gandhi (Indian political and spiritual leader): "I learned from Hussain how to achieve victory while being oppressed."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted two Brazilian guys in mid-2013 and I have to admit we have had a great time together. They were amazing guys. My apartment is clean, and I really exaggerate with cleaning, however, they left the apartment even more clean than it was at first. I just admire they experience and the experience they shared with me, which is couch surfing. I really appreciate it.

Interests

My interest is getting as much knowledge as I can. Learning languages is my goal I speak more than 6 languages. Language is culture.

Music, Movies, and Books

When it comes to music there are no exceptions for me. I listen pretty much to almost everything. And by this I literally mean everything even though I don't understand the lyrics.

I like movies and TV programs that deal with reality and I do not enjoy watching Science Fiction.

Books are pretty much the same as movies. I don't read books that are about Science Fiction. I would rather read something that is related to our reality.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A road trip starting from North-West Florida, Pensacola and all the way to Boston, Massachusetts. We have been through Alabama, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts. And all the way back From New Jersey to Florida through Philadelphia, Delaware, Maryland, DC, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida. I have driven about 4000 miles during this trip.

During this trip, I pretty much have seen "almost everything" in the East Coast. I have to say it was my best trip, perhaps, ever in my life. And probably I could attribute this to the place because the United States is one of the best places to do road trips.

Teach, Learn, Share

We all are created an equal member of One Human Family. We can discuss and debate our differences, however, we have much more in common than our differences.

I try to learn every single minute. I do not waste my time doing things I do not like. Every person I meet, every place I visit, every landscape that I sightsee, I try to learn something from it or at least make it a source of inspiration for me to become better.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Growing up in almost 8 different cultures and countries, speaking 6 languages, majoring in International Business and Languages is something hard but not impossible. And, linguistically speaking, the word impossible is not something that is 100%. It could be overturned to possible and in the Semantic languages, there is an expression that says: the impossible could be overturned as possible.

So from this experience, I try to share whatever I learned with hosts and also with surfers, I have learned a lot from the two guys that I hosted.
