About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Finish my MBA, learn Arabic and Portugese, and just live and love life--try to help people along the way.

ABOUT ME

I'm a lover of life, travel, humanitarian work, art, languages, cultures, animals, dancing, food, EVERYTHING!!! (really)
I am a little of everything. My mother is Swedish, Mongolian, German, French, and Cherokee Indian. My father is Spanish, Chinese, and Inca Indian...and out of all this madness you get me!! lol :)
I was a missionary's child in Bolivia until I was 8 and then my parents moved to the states (mother is American) and now my parents have a non-profit working in Mexico.
I, on the other hand, am not religious. I don't assocaite myself with any particular religous group, rather I am honest, open, and sensitive to all beliefs (while having my own of course).
I moved to France on my own when I was 17 (on my birthday!) and have been traveling ever since. I move to another city, state, or country every 3-4 months!! (I've been doing it for the past 4 to 5 years now! jaja crazy I know!)
Overall I am just a lover of life, as I said earlier...I love meeting people and learning from them.

PHILOSOPHY

"γνῶθι σεαυτόν gnōthi seauton" (Roughly translated, "Know yourself"...so that you can then understand others, and ultimately understand the world-- Socrates)
"ἓν οἶδα ὅτι οὐδὲν οἶδα hen oída hoti oudén oída" ("I know that I know nothing"...which I think captures the essence of a truly wise person; because you realize life is so vast the more you learn the more you feel you don't know anything in comparison to the immensity of the world.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If I had a permanent or even semi-permanent address I would love to host travelers too!......Given I don't though, well that poses a problem, so sadly I cannot. I finish my MBA in August 2010 so hopefully not longer after that I shall be getting a more permanent home since I will have to start working at that point. So I'll keep my profile updated! :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been traveling for a while, and have friends all over the world, and they've been kind enough to let me sleep on their couch, so I guess I've been doing this for a while now . :)
Formally however; I started couchsurfing while I was in Portugal summer 2009 and I loved my experience.

Interests

I love to cook, love to design my own clothes, love to travel (obviously), but above all I think I like to live in new places (not just travel through them). Why? Because that is how you learn about yourself...because everything around you is so different. I love being challenged to grow as a person, which is why I suppose my friends are from all over the world--their diversity instigates my own! :)
I love to dance! (Anything too!)
