ABOUT ME

Matthew is an ex-pat Brit living in the US since 1989; Amanda is from the east coast living in San Francisco. We work locally and have a lovely dog, and like to go out and play in the outdoors; stay in and cook and be social generally.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted quite a few times in 2007 & 2008 and had great experiences. Sadly after 2009 our loft became an office for Matthew's business, so we have some staff working here in the day, and it's hard for us to have people to stay

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Matthew did lots of traveling in 2003 and wishes CS had been around then! In the mid 1980s I ran a couch in my place in London which might as well have been in the Lonely Planet for the amount of traffic it got--mostly Australians of course! I've slept on lots of couches, but these days prefer aero beds!
