Morceaux de musique, films et livres

So much music that I love! I can be a little on the opinionated side, but really I just love music and sound and the impact it has on people. Some of my favorites at the moment are pretty varied: Trans Am, The Bird and the Bee, Iron Maiden, Taylor Swift, Belbury Poly, The Bee Gees, Electric Six, Justin Timberlake, Fartbarf, Daikaiju, Dinosaur Ghost, Thee Oh Sees, CHRISTEENE, Add N to (x), Devo... lots.

Movies can be all over the place. I like sci-fi, quirky, unexpected, thinking stuff, bizarre b-movies, will watch the occasional cheesy RomCom (Trainwreck was great!)...

Most of my reading these days has been nonfiction, relating to design, working for myself and business stuff, health improvements, and the like. But I also enjoy sci-fi for escape. (Neal Stephenson's "REAM DE" grabbed me like whoa.)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Going to Burning Man last year (2015) for the first time would definitely classify as something amazing I've done. I camped with the Melons at "L Melon O P" and was blown away by the impact it had on me, showing me what is possible to achieve as a community. Everyone was kind, generous, smiling... truly a great time.

I also was the National 2-Baton Twirling Champion in 1992 for 15-year-olds, which was pretty awesome at the time. I now have two fire batons that I use to entertain my friends with at small gatherings. :)
