ABOUT ME

I'm an Italian brain researcher based in Sweden. I'm currently trying to understand how social interactions are processed in the brain of typical people and people that suffer from diagnoses.

I enjoy listening to what people have to say about their lives, I get easily fascinated by their stories and their cultures. I think there's no better way to get to know and understand a culture than by meeting the locals.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's a great way to meet people when travelling alone.
Unfortunately my apartment is too small to host guests.

Interests

I enjoy travelling as it is the best way to learn new things, listening to live music, talking and listening, taking photos. I'm pretty active and I enjoy doing yoga and running when it's sunny but not too hot outside.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: Tchaikovsky, Verdi, Stan Getz, Zimmer, Queen, Jamiroquai, & many others. Movies & Tv-Series. "Little Miss Sunshine" & anything done by Woody Allen . Italian classics "8,1/2" by Fellini and "I mostri", more recently "Io sono l'amore", "La meglio gioventu'" and "Dieci Inverni". Books: "Behave! by Robert Sapolsky.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I made my nephew learn how to use a scooter.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Unfortunately I don't have much experience with couchsurfing, but I'm well aware of boundaries and the importance to give space to hosts.
