Well, about me..
For starters, I am not a risk taker. I never have been, i'm those type of people who's scared to even refill my drink when there's a NO FREE REFILLS sign posted. The way I was raised, I was always under the assumption that life was about following orders and achieving life stuff like graduating high school, going to college; you know, life.

However, something happened to me (well a few things really) that made me wake up one day and say; I need to take risks, NOW.
So this summer (Summer 2016 :D) I have decided to travel around the country and Canada. There are some places that I plan to go with some friends and family, and there are some places that I hope to conquer on my own.

Am I nervous? Hell yeah
Am I crazy for taking such a ridiculous risk? Maybe
Am I excited? Absolutely :D

There are many purposes to my trip, such as
- I want to figure myself out, explore who I am as a person
- There's 7 billion people in the world, which means I want to make at least a billion new friends! I have lived in my hometown my entire life and have realized this place is way to small. literally everyone knows everyone here.
- I want to spread a simple message, one of peace and respect..
- Make a CHANGE, whether it be small like making someone's day or big like saving a forest
- i'm a writer who has been stuck in Writer's Block for a very, very, very long time. I am hoping that my experiences give me inspiration in regards to writing.
-I want to push myself to my limits, run away from my comfort zone

and ultimately

-I don't want to live my life having regretted or thinking "what if" if I don't take this trip

I'm a shy, but humble and overall happy person..
So other random things about myself

1. I enjoy having a good, full conversation
2. I read books (no, not from kindles, the kinds with covers and paper pages) passionately.
3. I enjoy writing, specifically about social (current) affairs
4. I'm a tree hugger, a hippie at heart :)
5. I love all kinds of music
6. If I could be a student as a career, I probably would.
7. I want to be associated with a positive change in the world someday.
8. I love laughing and smiling
9. I believe all animals and nature should be loved and respected.
10. I enjoy questioning everything

So, I hope i have shared enough about myself that when you guys read my profile, you guys can see a possible new friend :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

All my life I have dreamed of traveling because..
I want to make my own decisions.. to take risks.
How can one experience life without taking risks, escaping from one's comfort zone?
We only live this one life, and I am so tired of living the same routine all day every day.
I want to know there's more to life than working, getting married, working, having kids, working, get a house, working, have a dog , working, get sick, working, grow old, working, and ultimately die.
I want randomness, saying hello to a stranger who may or may not be my best friend one day, staring into the night sky and actually see stars, take a swim in a lake or river, save the planet, create peace, create a change, be spontaneous, like fall asleep in Colorado and wake up in California..
I just want to live my life to the fullest and take this opportunity to spread my message of peace and human connection everywhere before I need to go back home, and work >_<

Thus, that's why I want to Couch Surf :)
