ABOUT ME

A US Army Combat Medic veteran. I've had the opportunity to travel the world, meet amazing people, and pay it forward by allowing other surfers to crash at my house. I am a traveler and love to find new experiences everywhere I go.

I spend a lot of my time helping other people from fix-it jobs at their homes to volunteering for different organizations to spread awareness in the community.

Life is full of adventures. We just need to realize which adventure we are currently in.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by providing a safe place for surfers to crash and relax. If I have some free time, I'm happy to show you around. If I'm busy, I'm happy to give you some points of interest in Denver according to your tastes. If I'm cooking out while you're here, feel free to enjoy the wonderful food and have a great time. I want to be your temporary home away from home.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The connections and experiences I make through couchsurfing is like no other. I constantly tell people that couchsurfing is a community. There is a certain vibe that surfers and hosts share. While the site becomes more commercial, the community does not change. I enjoy getting to know people from all over the world and enjoy sharing experiences and opinions. I also LOVE to share food and eat food.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC - I really am open to all types of music. I can listen to anything from Classical to hard rock. Really depends on the mood.

MOVIES - I like Indie movies, and also thought-provoking movies. When it comes to the comic book universe, I prefer Marvel over DC. Although, I really like Superman and Wonder Woman. I always like a great horror, thriller, or adventure movie.

BOOKS - The book series I’m currently reading is the Three-Body Problem. I love thought provoking books, but also like the classics, such as Count of Monte Cristo.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since it's hard to plan travels with multiple people, I find it easier to just pick up and leave for a few days or a week. I had the opportunity to explore all of Ireland and some of Great Brittain on my own. I made some lifelong friends and still remember it being one of my most favorite trips.

Teach, Learn, Share

There is a lot we can learn from each other. Even simply chatting and seeing what we have in common would be great! I like some friendly debate and conversation. I think it is important for people to have their own personal views and that we need to have open minds to understand differing views.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can be a listening ear, offer a place to stay, and even a travel companion, if time allows. I would be happy to show you around town and even cook some great meals with you.

Sometimes, I decide to purchase a membership at a local museum or cultural center. If I happen to have a membership anywhere, I am happy to share the benefits with you.
