About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Work more, get a Master's degree, learn French

ABOUT ME

"Music is my boyfriend" - yep, this quote suits me perfectly. I love spending time in an amazing manner doing all sorts of (crazy/smart) things that bring me joy and pleasure. Sounds unusual, I know.

I read all the time.
I'm a latte-addict.
I love my family.
I've been practicing yoga for 5 years and I love it.
I'm ENFJ according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator and I'm 7.
I keen on fashion and I'm planning to get my masters in Fashion Management some time soon.

PHILOSOPHY

One day I was so sad that the corners of my mouth met and everybody thought I was whistling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I can I host people, when I can't - I meet them and tell crazy stories. I donated, I travelled, I spread the word (and I'm still waiting for the postcard to get identified).

Interests

Music (from Interpol to Bebel Gilberto and Burial); movies (from Todd Solondz to Alfred Hitchcock and Sofia Coppola); fashion (from Ann Demeulemeester to Vivienne Westwood and Acne); literature (from Vladimir Nabokov to Henry Miller and Jonathan Coe); philosophy (from Plato to my intelligent friends); food (from coconut yogurts to delicious lazanija with white mushrooms and cheese); wine (dry red wine only).

Music, Movies, and Books

Fedor Dostoevsky drives me crazy. Daniil Kharms and Vladimir Nabokov are my personal heroes.
Ingmar Bergman makes me want to become Swedish.
More on movies: "Head-On", "I am Love", "Persona", "The Seventh Seal", "Burn After Reading", "The Celebration" and many, many more. I am a typical "The Mighty Boosh" fan; "Spaced" and "Black Books" are great too.
And yes, music is my boyfriend.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. I have got two tattoos that mean a lot to me and I'm planning to get many more in the future.
2. I was awarded with a grand-prix of Steven Spielberg foundation in Russia (for 4 short stories about the WW2 and the Holocaust that I wrote).
3. I remember dancing by myself in the Tirol Alps, in the woods, listening to "Demis Roussos - I Dig You" and it was a gorgeous moment, really.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belarus, France, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Lithuania, Russian Federation
