About Me

ABOUT ME

I am an IT guy that has a football (soccer) data api. I love travelling around the world, reading books, and learning new things :D neeeerd :D

PHILOSOPHY

Do it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have had great experience with hosting only one person so far. I have surfed some great people in Germany, France and the Netherlands. It was amazing.

I always use CS to ask hosts about their surrounding and hidden gems, which are not so popular on the Internet, so expect this question from me.

Interests

I like airplanes although I am afraid of flying. I love traveling and doing sports, mostly football, volleyball and biking with my mountain bike. I like having a blitz chess game online when I have a couple of minutes free.

Music, Movies, and Books

By far one of my favourite books is Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and the Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham. I also like historical themed books and articles.

Metallica, Rev Theory, Modern Talking, DJ Bobo, 90s come in to mind. I grew up with this music. Also Reggaeton because of my girlfriend.

I prefer movies that have meaning in their plots and good actors, and I dislike mainstream stuff. Top movies list:
- Scarface
- Inception
- Once upon a time in the west (the old one ;))
- The first transformers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Left my work to try and make my company work while traveling around. But since this is in process the list goes like this :) :

1. Bungee jump
2. I only broke one finger after I crashed with my bike going 60 km/h.
3. Moved to live in Sweden and Studied and worked there.
4. Drove on Transfaragashan highway in Romania!
5. Visited Costa Rica - whoever has been there knows what I mean
6. Been on stadiums during EURO 2016 and FIFA World Cup 2018
7. Was at the stadium when Boca Juniors played River Plate in Madrid

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bore you with my programming knowledge, or teach you how to be bad at playing the guitar. I believe I cook well, or at least I have been told that so I can teach you a recipe or too.

I want to learn everything I can. You can call me an e-Book worm.

I can share my life experience, I have lived in 4 countries with vastly different standards. For some of the people in couch surfing it might seems like nothing, but for me it is a lot.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share travel experience, living in different countries impressions. How to be bad at playing the guitar and my favorite Pork with blueberry sauce meal or American pancakes yam yam.
