Overview
About Me
I'm a 30 year old, currently travelling with my girlfriend through South East Asia, onto the US, then into Central America for 4 or so months. I really enjoy the novelty and challenge of learning how to survive in foreign places with alien customs, traditions, greetings, eating habits, modes of transport, occupations, and social norms in general!
I was born in Adelaide, South Australia where I lived until 18 years old. I then moved to Sydney to study for 5 years, before heading to Glasgow, Scotland to work and live with a few colleagues while galivanting Europe. Completed the round trip back to Adelaide in 2013, where I have been since.
I love my work as a Chiropactor, however I see my life as not work/life, but simply life. Chiropractic features in there, as does my life in Adelaide, as does my love for travel. I want all of these to be equally prioritized, and none sacrificed in the pursuit of the others.
I like being physically active, doing things that push my comfort zone, meeting new people and hearing their stories, and winding down (or up) with a drink. I like to think I can party... but I'm too old for that shit now; once in a while is great, followed by a few head cradling days afterwards.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
At the moment, I am on the road and on a budget, so I'd love to stay at people's places as a way to both save money AND get a true experience of the country and the locals who live there.
Happy to do my own thing if needed, and also happy to engage with my host and take them out for a meal/drink to thank them.
Interests
Trying new things! I'm always attempting to learn a new language, go salsa dancing, discover an elusive sport. I don't know if this is a good thing or not... Maybe I should just stick to what I'm good at haha

Music, Movies, and Books
Getting into the more contemplative stuff at the minute. Not sure if this is a help or hinderance, but interesting nonetheless. Also like a good non-fiction travellers story to learn more about the country I'm in.
Music is a bit of a mix, possibly deep house or some other chill out beats. But yeah, some Indie's up my alley too.
