About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Quenching My Wanderlust

ABOUT ME
I live in the USA and I'm a pro at moving
KY - MO - CA - OR - CA - TN - KY - TX

I've been traveling and moving around for more than a decade and I've always met great people through this community. I recently moved with my little family to Austin, Texas. My husband and I met in our hometown and got married a few years ago. I'm a mom to a beautiful little boy.

Up for meeting everyone and anyone. It'd be great to meet other moms who love to travel or are adventure seekers.

Looking to have many new great experiences with travelers or local hosts as we explore together! Let's grab a brew, coffee/tea, watch some live music, have conversation and eat good food.

wife - mommy - tea fanatic - intrepid traveler - dreamer - doer - old school video gamer - nature lover - adventure seeker - amateur yogi & runner

Quotes:

"To live content with small means; to seek elegance rather than luxury, and refinement rather than fashion; to be worthy, not respectable, and wealthy, not, rich; to listen to stars and birds, babes and sages, with open heart; to study hard; to think quietly, act frankly, talk gently, await occasions, hurry never; in a word, to let the spiritual, unbidden and unconscious, grow up through the common - this is my symphony." ~ William Henry Channing

"It doesn't interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for - and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart's longing. It doesn't interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool - for love - for your dreams - for the adventure of being alive." ~ Oriah Mountain Dreamer

"Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play in and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul." ~ John Muir

"Make a radical change in your lifestyle and begin to boldly do things which you may previously never have thought of doing, or been too hesitant to attempt. So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life of security, conformity, and conservation, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future." ~ Jon Krakauer

"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives." ~ Henry David Thoreau

I like to listen/read: Alan Watts, Joseph Campbell, Thoreau, Emerson, Carl Sagan, Carl Jung, Terrence McKenna, Aldous Huxley, I listen to Joe Rogan's podcast quite often

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month living and working in Big Sur, CA at The Esalen Institute. Big Sur is my favorite place. I've driven across the United States three times. Volunteered in tsunami affected areas of India and refugee clinics in Costa Rica. AND, I've eaten a bacon maple glazed doughnut in Portland! ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I simply like spending quality time with people and learning about them as a person.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I usually like to meet people and see what I can share with them. I'd definitely be up to taking you out to grab drinks, watch music, tea, dinner/lunch. Pet sitting, if needed.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Costa Rica, India, Mexico
