About Me

I'm a natural observer and explorer. An Afrophile on a journey to discover the best of Africa. I'm fascinated by African music, arts, literature and cultural experiences, and a secret passion for music festivals.

I enjoy meeting new people and engaging in interesting conversations from politics, sociology and philosophy. I enjoy reading, listening to music, watching documentaries and biography films. In a nutshell, I'm passionately curious.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would love to meet new people, exchange ideas and see the world through others' experiences.

Interests

Writing - Although I write for a living, I do occassionaly write and share my experiences via the blog.

Documentaries - My favourite documentary is titled: God sleeps in Rwanda and explores the triumphant spirit of 5 women who've pieced their lives together following the genocide.

Festivals - Number 1 on my bucket list is to attend the world's top 10 festivals, starting on the African continent of course. Swaziland's Bushfire is done, 9 more to go, and 'world, here I come'.
