About Me
About me, Ádám, I live in the south of Hungary in Szeged. I'm university a student. I learn Turkish and Portuguese language and culture. I love to read and I'm a cinema-goer as well. Historical movies and books are my favourites. I sometimes travel with my girlfriend so She is gonna write about herself.
Hi, My name is Szabina (pronounced as Sabina), I am a university student in Szeged. I'm studying history, mostly european. I like to read, especially novels and historical magazines. I'm interested in italian culture, to be more concrete, gastronomy and films. I join my boyfriend because I would like to travel together with him.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I did wwoofing in the summer of 2015 in Sweden and workawaying in 2016 in Turkey. I met a lot of people (including couchsurfers), and it was a really pleasent experience. I would like the explore other cultures, meet new people, so I can learn about life. The other main reason is of course to help people travel .
Interests
I'm really a fan of cultural exchange. I like to get to know new people and share my culture with them and also to get introduced to theirs. It helps the whole world to be a better place. And at the end that's what matters.
Volunteering, I'm visiting countries for a longer period by volunteering so I can get the jist of the culture and the ordinary life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love alternative/folk rock, like Arctic Monkeys, Matthew and the Atlas, RHCP and many others. Also Jimi Hendrix is one of my favourite. I am a huge fan of contemporary hungarian music as well. I can introduce you to that if you want.
I like to read, but currently do not have a lot of time for it because of my studies. I can't exatly say my favourites, but as of genres I like historical novels, short story crime novels, and history books.
When it comes to films I just say "Guy Ritchie".
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hitchhiked from Stockholm to Helsinki and back. (No, I did not use the ferry :D)
Next summer I did a Hungary-Turkey trip with the same travelling method.
Teach, Learn, Share
I always love to learn recipes and other gastronomial stuff and I'm up to play any board games. I am also eager to learn languages, even those that I do not know, just so I can say "thank you for everything" for my host in his/her native language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I like the expression "cultural exchange". Based on this I can share my culture in many ways, that can be culinal, historical or anything. I am up to tell stories share my experiences in my country and other ones.
