ABOUT ME

By day, a mild-mannered manager in a typical office. By evening, a gregarious part-time university teacher and explorer of all Europe has to offer, both it's refined cultural history and its sweet debaucheries. Constant seeker of the fountain of youth in all its various forms and philosophical nomad always searching for the Utopian grazing pastures to finally call "home". Unrepentant Euro Snob that prefers the slower often more difficult way of life in Europe than the convenient, instant gratification that America offers. Loves nothing more than to figure out a situation involving a language barrier. Has lived in Texas, Germany, Italy and California and has loved them all for different reasons. Completely Existential, gave up valuing the elusive "truth" and instead will just settle for the joy and exploration of “why?” Never satisfied with sitting on the couch for long and must have a new destination or adventure planned and circled on the calendar. Music, Movies, and Books

Throw a dart and you'll hit a different type in my CD collection. Current mood: Lounge, Trip/Hop and traditional French. Also like Balkans music even Chalga (Bulgarian) which has a great beat. Enjoy French, Italian, Bossa Nova and learning new local sounds from various counties. Zemfira (Russia) is great!

Kundera, Coehlo, Kafka, Bulgakov, Remarque, Zola to name a few plus all that "boring" history stuff:-) Favorites are Lermontov "A Hero of our Times" and Hugo's "Les Miserables".

I love to practice my languages especially French. I'll be happy to trade some conversation practice with my English such that it is:-) Actually, I have my TOEFL certificate and have taught English in Italy.
