ABOUT ME
I have travelled in Central America, Canada, Europe and the Caribbean. I am passionate about social justice, and enjoy working on different projects. I love both exploring big cities and chilling out in the country. I am the happiest enjoying good food, wine and laughs with my friends.. but, am not a stranger to a good night out dancing.
PHILOSOPHY
I most identify with Buddhist philosophies, so for me lately I have been trying to live compassionately, being both gentle to myself and others. Recognizing impernamence, taking things as they come, and having lots of laughs, good company, great food. Not taking myself or life too seriously.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
In the past couple of years I started couchsurfing, and shared lots of great moments with everyone I met along the way. It was a whirlwind!!!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I think I have hosted more couch surfers then, been one myself. In Montreal we had lots of great people come through our door, for short or long stays. For me it is about that feeling of being totally in the moment. Meeting people, sharing ideas and getting pushed into exciting new directions.
Interests
I love to COOK and share meals with others!!! Being in the outdoors.. and love the excitement of getting to know new people and places. Dancing. Participating and learning about different cultures. Thrive on the challenge of learning new languages.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love to read, dance and explore. I devour contemporay fiction (enjoy both a twisted plot or something with deeper message) .. Marukami, Coupland, Sedaris... Gabriel Garcia Marquez..Ondatjee.. I also need to read the occasional non-fiction : Bang Bang Club, Open Veins of Latin America..
Music- God, the list can just go on and on if I let it..
Last 3 movies I watched : tsotsi, la dolce vita and everything is illuminated.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling alone the first time I went to Guatemala. Showing up with broken Spanish and not sure what I was getting into. Learned so much about myself in the process.
Climbing Volcan Pacaya.
