About Me

Hi there!
I'm 21 and am doing some travelling having just finished my year exchange in Wilfred Laurier University, Canada. I've just done a road trip from Calgary to Vancouver and now really want to soak in the West Coast of the US. I live in Northern Ireland but study English Literature in Swansea in Wales so am doing my best to explore as far as I can before I head back. Hunter S Thompson and Jack Karoac have rather sold me on this part of the world so I am pretty excited for me and my flatmate to hit the road

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My friend and I are travelling down the West Coast of America following our year abroad in Canada and want to see everything along the way (without limiting ourselves to trip advisors top 20). This seems like the best way to have an authentic experiance and meet people and create the all important travel memories to see us through our final year at uni. Pretty easy going, down to chat and head out and explore, if that's what you fancy, but equally happy to just tiptoe in and out to sleep if you want some peace and quiet.
I'm afraid I haven't much to offer by the way of talents but I can surely cook some breakfast or walk the dog and my mate has been know to play guitar.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'll listen to every genre pretty much, even country at a push. Currently vibing with SWMRS, Slaves and Nina Simone

Books: It's tricky but maybe A Thousand Splendid Suns, The Book Thief, All My Friends are Superheroes, and anything by Steven King

Movies: Stand By Me is the one!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Moving to Canada for the year is probably the most amazing thing I have done so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

It would be lovely to learn about the places we are tavelling to, or the place that our hosts are from.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Down to share a pint, a pizza, a good ghost story or a Spotify playlist.
I do English Lit and Creative Writing so if you need book reccomendations or some editing I can help you out.
