👌 Some people’s greatest passion is food, while for others it’s books or movies. For me, it’s music. Music elevates, illuminates, inspires, teaches, comforts, empowers, and invigorates—and it makes life so much sweeter.

🎶 Faves include: alt-j, M83, Bon Iver, Washed Out, Foals, Cut Copy, Sigur Ros, Angus and Julia Stone, Radiohead, Sufjan Stevens, Metallica, Tool, Pink Floyd, The Cure, ELO, Gang of Youths, Emancipator, Tycho.

📚 Favourite authors are Kurt Vonnegut, John Steinbeck and Elizabeth Gilbert. I often prefer podcasts and audiobooks, so I can exercise/multi-task while I listen/learn.

📺 I rarely watch movies/TV/Netflix. If I do, I love English comedy, especially the super surreal weird ones like Black Books and Mighty Boosh—if you’re a fan of those, we are going to get along particularly well!

🇨🇦 More of an amazing experience, than an amazing achievement: Living in the heart of Banff National Park—one of the most beautiful places in Canada—for two incredible years.

👀 A picture-perfect snow-globe world in winter. A breathtaking haven of dazzling turquoise-hued lakes and incredible mountain scenery in summer. It’s a place of unimaginable beauty—and it’s even better than the photos!

⛰ While living here, besides working, I spent my time skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, snowshoeing, ice skating, caving/spelunking, hiking, and making the memories of a lifetime.

🙌 But the biggest highlight of all was the fascinating, unforgettable people I met along the way—including my Couchsurfing guests and hosts.
