About Me

Currently traveling after studying Environmental Management & Sustainability in Australia. Hoping to find some good climbing, hiking, yoga, food, culture and art during my travels. 😊

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking for a more authentic stay during my time in foreign places, with the opportunity to meet new friends and explore beyond the tourist destinations.

Interests

I’m realizing a growing interest in art and design which is inspired by the nature I see around me. Whenever I am outdoors I get inspired by nature’s design/patterns and feel the need to express it in my own way.

Rock climbing has been a true challenge mentally and physically. Every time I’m on the rock I am confronted with hesitations, strong emotions and physical limitations. It teaches me to stay humble and to reach inside to find the motivation to keep going, accept the fear and send it!

Music, Movies, and Books

Some go to genres are indie/psychedelic/surf/sitar/folk/classic rock

Not often do I sit down for a movie but I do enjoy documentaries usually about culture, historical events, nature or bugs!

Books I would like to read again:
- the dharma bums
- mans search for meaning
- zen & the art of motorcycle maintenance

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During our trip to India my partner and I spent 5 weeks camping in a quiet village in Jammu, India. We bouldered, ate fresh fruits, did yoga, met with the local families and cooked for ourselves. It was simple living and time well spent!
