Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I’m in love with a lot of music. Especially intentially conscious, music.

Movies: Documentaries, and animated films..things that teach me and are useful in life as it is now. And to view what we are teaching the next generation.

Books: True stories and things I can learn from. Ex. "How Not To Die" by Dr Michael Greger

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Here are a few that stand out for me:

I took a month long vow of silence in 2016 and it ended while I spent some time building teepee shelters for Native elders, at Standing Rock in North Dakota, as a water protector against the Dakota access pipeline. 2 years later, I walked for six months from the top of New Zealand to the bottom, in silence for clean water to raise funds to build a water well in Uganda.

I meditated in the dark of a huge secluded underground cave with a yogi in India and could feel the wind from the wings of bats on my skin.

After a shared bottle of wine on an almost secluded dark island in Cambodia, me and my friend swam naked in bioluminescent plankton...with three puppies.

(This said, I have actually not drank since 2018)

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn more ways to improve my relationship with the natural world. I’m generally interested in learning about the diversity and ecological progress of the places I visit.
