About Me

Hello, world! As of this writing (Nov 2018), I work full-time as a software engineer at Google, but really I consider myself to be a dancer, artist, and creator. I was born and raised in Toronto, went to university in Waterloo (1.5 hours from Toronto), and now live in San Francisco, California for work.

Ok, that was more of my formal resume. If you really know me, you'll know that I have been on a crazy roller coaster for over 10 years with this thing called dance that I'm in love with and also drives me crazy. I'm a whimsical, spontaneous person who gets very excited easily. This is why my partner, Jamie, who travels with me about half the time, is the stabilizer of the relationship; the rock that anchors me when I get swept away by the wind (which is often!).

I am on a personal spiritual journey which I began in 2017, where I am learning to accept myself, validate myself, free myself from the bounds of society, understand my purpose, understand the interconnectedness between all consciousness, align with my true self, and follow my dreams. I've come so far and learned so much already, and it excites me to know that I will be on this journey for the rest of my life. I'd love to share with you what I've learned and also learn about your journey, your world view, and your dreams. My strength and desire is to energize, empathize with, and empower others. Let's learn together, create together, and share with each other.

My favourite things to do when traveling is to hop between cafes, walk around the streets, or just hang out and talk to locals or read a book. I'm deeply interested in getting to know the "vibe" of a place and really sinking into how it feels. I love colourful streets and people watching, so I'm more of a city person. I'm also vegetarian when I travel (vegan back home), so if you know any great veggie restaurants please send them my way!
