I am an open, friendly, laid-back, and honest person.

I am a PhD student at UNC in Chapel Hill studying infectious diseases caused by viruses. I am very excited about science and research and love telling people about it.

Interests

I love science, cooking, and hiking. I love learning about nature, people, and places. I love talking about science, news, food, and experiences. I enjoy running, snowboarding, gardening, photography, laughing, eating, wine, movies, modern art, and music shows at small venues. I'm obsessed with viruses and immunology, and the radio show "This American Life".
