About Me

ABOUT ME

I am short, loud, easy-going, out-going at the same time as being a ‘keep to myself’ person (introverted extrovert) although when I’m traveling I definitely sway more to the extrovert side of my personality.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life shouldn't be taken too seriously. Why stress about the economy and stock markets when you have a comfy couch to sit on and a dog cuddling next to you?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined CS to try find a place in my travels during my exchange in Copenhagen.

Thus far I have never hosted anyone (flatmates back home not okay with it) I've couch surfed 4 times now, once in Sweden by myself, another time in Amsterdam with another Kiwi (New Zealander), in the favelas in Rio and in San Fran. All experiences were awesome and I love the idea of a complete random inviting you into their home and getting to know each other so quickly.

Interests

I pretty much have a split personality in that one side of my life loves yoga, studying, meditation, healthy eating and tea. The other side likes drinking, smoking, partying, drunken feeds. Its all about balance! 😏

Music, Movies, and Books

Jack Reacher, Harry Potter, Hunger Games. I once read all four 50 shades of grey and it was awful. I like either mind numbing movies like pineapple express etc. or psychological thriller ones, depends on mood.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Solo travelled across Europe and South America. Iguazu falls are pretty up there too. Burning Man

Teach, Learn, Share

I like to do simple things like finding cool places to watch the sunset, go to a park with a picnic and attempt handstands, or cook a meal at home with red wine and get into deep chat topics.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Conversation with a native English speaker (I talk a lot)
Acroyoga (google it if you don't know what that
is)
Cooking
Highly inappropriate jokes

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Australia, Bolivia, Brazil, Cambodia, Colombia, Denmark, France, Germany, Hungary, Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Thailand, United States, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
