Overview
About Me
I'm a short, goofy gal that loves music & nature. I moved back to Arkansas Oct 2012 after schooling, seasonal working, and travelling for 5 years. Nowadays I work at TNC, play cover songs in bars, hangout with my girlfriend, and laugh at my dogs doing weird things.
If it's ever in your power to help me out with this, I would really like to ride an ostrich.
Or a llama.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to try things twice in case the first time was a dud.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the community. I wandered for several years, living out of a suitcase, before deciding to hang my hat somewhere. I enjoy hearing stories and telling stories of wild experiences on the road. I've surfed a bit while traveling in the US, New Zealand, and Australia. I made a lot of friends through the community groups in both Little Rock, AR and Asheville, NC (when I lived there). I also hosted a shit ton with my former roomie.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first CS experience involved an ultimate frisbee tournament, guitar sing along, hamburger cookout, and a bottle of tequila that I thoughtfully named "George." Half of my team crashed with a more than excellent hostess named Jenny in Jonesboro, AR.
Interests
Mo-town blues, splashing in creeks, playing guitar, having an OCD-level of cleanliness, yard work and home improvement tasks, eco-friendly products, taking my dogs to the park, and my adorable nephews.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some bands that I fancy include Sam Cooke, Shovels & Rope, Sara Bareilles, Tracy Chapman, The Beatles, Dashboard Confessional, Beyoncé, Incubus, Joni Mitchell, Fleetwood Mac, and Death Cab For Cutie. I also love to dance, which involves an all together different genre. That being said, I've tried for several years but can't manage to kick one ridiculous infatuation--the *umpsk umpsk* dance music of Britney Spears. It's sad and amazing at the same time.
My favorite book is The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In Mississippi, I saw a lady on the back of a motorcycle wearing a bicycle helmet. It pretty much completed my life. She was also carrying a birthday present with a giant bow.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love getting to know new people and seeing things from their perspective.
