Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in helping each other out, weather we know the person well or not at all. It feels nice to be able to give something to someone in need, be it a bed, a meal or just your time. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. It enriches my own.

Interests

I paint and draw in all my spare time and am keen to learn photography. I love discovering new amazing people and places around the world and would love to be able to capture that in my artwork.
On a daily basis I love listening to music while I cook or clean or just about any time of day. I love a good card game over wine too.

Music, Movies, and Books

Fave band is Queens of the Stone Age. I love alternative music and I like to play it loud. I also like lounge and acoustic when I'm in the mood for it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've helped rebuild an old run down building in a hospital in Uganda and turn it into a quarantine unit. I also helped the nurses there part time and changed bandages and dressings on burns victims. I was amazed at the courage the patients showed, considering the lack of painkillers and up to date treatment they received and the conditions of the hospital they were staying in. I was in awe.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to take you around Prague. Between the monuments, the river and the parks, there are lots of beautiful places to see and explore. Not to mention the museums and galleries. I know a few nice cafes and bars to go to at night too. I can also teach you a couple of good card games.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a double mattress under my bed so it can sleep two people on it. I also have a small couch. Probably not comfortable for sleeping but if you really don't want to sleep together, it's an option. The kitchen is free for you to use as long as you don't eat my flat mates food. You're welcome to mine. We have free wifi too.
