ABOUT ME

I am an indigenous women, born in the north of Sweden and I live in Stockholm. Since I was retired I have travelled a lot.
I am a member of 5W, www.womenwelcomewomen.uk and Servas. By a membership of these and even couchsurfing I have got good local advices.
My husband passed away and I moved to a smaller apartment. Just because of the new situation I welcome only woman.

Interests

Unusual journeys where few tourists are traveling. I think I am an explorer when I travel.
I am interested in culture and I belong to a poetry group for Sami people.
I am also interested in genealogy. I have found many ancestors since 400 years ago.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Meet local people which I did in Tuva in Siberia.This is a good way to learn about how people are living. Another amazing thing was whale watching in White Sea on Solovetski islands.
Take part of the Millennium celebration on Tonga where it started was also an interesting experience.
