The ultimate goal is to fill my life and the lives of others with as many beautiful, eye opening, funny and bizarre moments as possible through travel and daily adventures.

ABOUT ME

I'm a small town girl born and raised in Jackson, Wyoming, U.S.A. I go home to visit my amazing family there during the summer and I work like nobody's business to help pay for school.
I am a third year student at the University of Oregon in the beautiful city of Eugene, but I am spending this school year in Poitiers, France. I'm a double major in French and Humanities. It has been a whirlwind adventure, filled with a lot of study time, but I'm taking every opportunity I can to travel around.

PHILOSOPHY

The philosophy that I carry with me always is that life is a journey, not a destination and that every day holds within it some sort of adventure with something new to be discovered. It's the moments in between the present and achieving our goals that make life what it is. There is so much to learn, so much to see, so many beautiful people to meet along the way that our eyes must be kept wide open to receive what every day has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

During this year in France, I unfortunately cannot host anybody as I live in a small, all girls dormitory. I hope to couchsurf around while I'm here and I can't wait to host other couch surfers when I return to Eugene, OR next fall.

Intereses

Having been born and raised in Wyoming, I'm a nature fanatic. I love to go hiking, mountain biking, camping, star gazing, sun rise watching... you get the idea. I love art, music, getting my groove on with just about any style of dance (or trying anyways), but above all, I love big , fall out of your seat, belly laughs. Meeting new people and discovering different cultures is a big passion of mine.

I think something went wrong and I was supposed to be born in the 60's. My dad and I have the same music on our ipods... Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Pink Floyd, CSNY, Tom Petty, Van the man Morrison, The Who, Joni Mitchel etc.
Favorite movie of all time... Die Hard... the first one.
Books: Just finished reading Everything is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer... I cried, I laughed, I learned, I was touched, it was fabulous. I'm also a big fan of Agatha Christie's murder mysteries. Best one: And Then There Were None.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Midnight canoeing on Jenny Lake in Grand Teton National Park... then going for a midnight swim. You could literally see the reflection of the milky way on the water and it changed my life.

I love nature and I love to share this love with those I meet. I love to take people star gazing or to watch the sunrise and the sunset. It doesn't have to be on a mountain top or anything... finding a rooftop to sit on and taking in a beautiful sunset can change your life.
My favorite thing on the planet is to learn. Whatever your special skill or your favorite activity is, if you are willing to teach me, I would love to learn it! Whether it be a language, a musical instrument, cooking a meal or whatever!!! If it's important to you, I would be honored if you would share it with me.
