In my travels I let others know that things like this exist and that it is way cooler staying with people who actually live in a city than paying for hotels.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never bad, I have couchsurfed with globalfreeloaders and place2stay a few years ago when I was traveling and never had any problems. I am still in contact now with some of the people I met almost 4 years ago.
