About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Moving to Colombia soon. Looking to have as much fun as possible and make as many people smile as I can. Shouldn't be too hard.

ABOUT ME

I moved to Buenos Aires because I wanted to learn Spanish and it was super cold in Chicago. Like really, really cold. And then I visited Colombia and decided it was better. So now I'm moving to Medellin. I started in Argentina and was supposed to settle down after a couple weeks but 5 months and 15 countries later, I'm still traveling.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to have as much fun as humanly possible while helping others to achieve the same goal. And life is about getting free shirts (I recently learned that this is an American thing) and putting stamps in your passport. It feels so exhilarating when you get a free shirt! You should try it sometime.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I registered years ago but never used the site but now I'm back and ready to do some surfing on couches (and let people surf on mine when I get a place).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed two times now and have absolutely loved the experience! 1. I've been very impressed with my hosts. I think that there is a cultural difference when it comes to hosting as I don't get the same feel when I've been hosted in the USA. People seem to be more passionate about hosting abroad. 2. I always like the non-touristy aspect of a city and really mingling with locals. Couchsurfing is the perfect way to do that!

Interests

Basketball, reading, playing cards, Bikram Yoga, learning different languages, traveling (of course), and a multitude of other fun activities.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was on Season 9 of the American dating reality show The Bachelorette. And I'm almost 30 and can still dunk. Booyah!
