ABOUT ME

i have been travelling and living around the world since 2 weeks after my 18th birthday in 2003. i have spent 4 summers in the usa at camp canadensis running the rock climbing programme. i spent 2 winters in london working as a barman and a bouncer, saw the sites, drank the drinks. i was a church local and she bu regular.
i am headed to canada with a group of mates to work the winter season in banff then hopefully trek some of the appalachian trail next year and then go to thailand and explore for a couple of months.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

rolled into charleston, sth carolina, couldnt get a hold of our friends so we went out to meet people. the waiter in the restaraunt we went to said he'd just come back from couchsurfing his way across europe and asia. he offered all 4 of us a place to sleep (this was 2 couches on his balcony in a massive old sth carolinan mansion) and we stayed there for a week. dead set legend. thanks roger, you're the best mate

camped in the badlands national park in south dakota. we got hit with a wind and snow storm and woke up with our tent collapsed under ice and snow. but it was the most beautiful morning i have ever seen in my life

never be afriad to go somewhere without a plan, this often makes for your greatest adventures, closest friendships and fondest memories
