About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Be an optimist

ABOUT ME

I have earlier worked with industrial automation and inventions. Now, I'm working with Internet businesses. I'm an easy-going chap loving to meet new people and getting off the tourist trail to unknown places. Want to learn about new cultures, go to museums, etc. but don't mind going out for a few drinks and having fun. Am a sociable person and appreciate humour and self-distance. Some mornings can be terrible, though: On the left side in my brain, there is nothing right, and on the right side there is nothing left!

Music, Movies, and Books

The old movie “Some like it Hot” is outstanding. Like good music regardless genre but am grown up with Dixieland which still is high ranked. Mexican Mariachi makes me glad and “classic” classic music is always nice to listen to as well as a lot of today’s music. Right now, I’m reading a crazy book, The Autograph Man, by Zadie Smith.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Far out in the Baltic Sea, a magical sunny day with a hefty haze and the sea as smooth as a mirror, my friend and I heard a strange, ghostly, sound. We headed towards the sound and came to a tiny rock populated with a seal colony. We stopped the boat and watched the seals for about an hour. They were swimming under and alongside the boat, not at all afraid when they popped up and down with their heads and curiously looked at us. An unforgettable moment.

Have flown Grand Canyon, U.S.A. in a tornado warning, experienced an earth quake in Las Vegas (which turned out to be a nuclear bomb test in the Nevada desert), been knocked down in Lisbon, driven on the wrong side, against the traffic, on a motorway in Nigeria, have been stuck in a mining elevator 300 m above the bottom, met a wolf close where I’m living. Blasted a stick of dynamite by mistake just a couple of meters under my canoe.

Countries I’ve Visited
