I'm a rare books curator for a local university, and am on here to meet friends and possibly host folks too. I'm relatively new to Atlanta, but I love it here, and I love to show people all the cool things we have to do. I also love to cook, garden, spend time with my pets, and go outdoors. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have used couchsurfing for meeting friends so far, but I'm also open to hosting, and I want to start using it for my travels as well. My favorite thing about staying in hostels around the world is meeting new people, but I feel like couchsurfing would be an even better way to do that!

Sharing:
-Cooking! I love to cook and garden, and love to share what I know. I do lots of preserving, baking, and cooking, so if there's something you want to learn about, feel free to ask me. If I know, I'd love to teach you!
-Library & Information Science: This is my profession, so I can go on about it for a while. Not really sure how much this interests folks but I love to talk about it!
-Art: I draw, paint, do calligraphy and pretend like I know how to do book binding (I know a little). Doing art with other people is fun!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would love to cook and make art with folks, and I always love talking about rare books, particularly if there are books on display at a local museum or something that we can talk about (it's more fun than just listening to me talk!)
I'm open to other suggestions as well: Do you want a hiking buddy for a day? Someone to go to a yoga class with? Want to learn a little about calligraphy?
